1. Focus on the isometric vacuum pose for at least 5 minutes a day

There is nothing else you can do that comes close to this exercise for reducing your waist size. 5 minutes is all you need, but you do in fact get even better results doing these 15-20 minutes a day.

First, the vacuum pose is a term for sucking in your belly. No, it's not the "standard" way of sucking in the belly. There are some slight modifications to get the most out of this.

Inhale and take a deep breath. While doing that, suck in the lower belly area... the part around your belly button. Hold your breath for 15 seconds while you maintain this pose. Let out a big exhale and release the isometric tension. Repeat this for at least 5 minutes everyday.

Results... you'll lose in the neighborhood of 2 inches for 5 minutes a day and 3 inches for 15-20 minutes a day... in less than a month.

2. Hula hooping with a weighted hula hoop

Hula hooping brings out definition and tones the whole waist area. This is a top exercise for women since this exercise mimics the dancing that belly dancers do. And if you haven't noticed, they have very feminine and curvy bodies. This exercises brings you closer to that look.

There's nothing fancy here... just hula hoop for 5 minutes a day.
